A WORD TO THE UNCONVINCED

Have you come to the place in your life that you know for certain that, if you died today, you would go to heaven?

What would you say to God if He were to ask, “Why should I let you into heaven?” Did you know that you can be sure?

HERE ARE THE FACTS:

HEAVEN IS A FREE GIFT!

1

You cannot earn it, and you will never deserve it.

“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith — and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God, not by works, so that no-one can boast.”  Ephesians 2:8-9

YOU ARE A SINNER AND CANNOT SAVE YOURSELF!

2

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,” Romans 3:23

“For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it.”

James 2:10

GOD IS MERCIFUL, BUT, HE IS JUST

3

He loves us, but He MUST punish sin.

“I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with loving-kindness.” Jeremiah 31:3

“The soul who sins is the one who will die.” Ezekiel 18:4

JESUS IS GOD IN THE FLESH...

4

...and he came to earth to die for our sins and save us.

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” John 1:1

“The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. . .” John 1:14

“We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.” Isaiah 53: 6

5

IT IS FAITH THAT SAVES US...

...and that is, believing in Him and trusting Christ alone for salvation — nothing else.

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—” Ephesians 2:8

”They replied, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved--you and your household." Acts 16:31

It’s that simple. Remember these 5 facts about faith, put your life in His hands, follow Him every day, and watch how He will change your life.
